For the love of toaster strudel and Gretchen Weiners, must we still confide in big curls for that extra oomph and million-dollar look today?
Thrifted and vintage denim, H&M tank, Accessories by Primark, Topshop Socks. Makeup by Smashbox, Topshop, MaxFactor, Dior. Hairspray by Toni and Guy.
If styling means that displaying- and letting clothing slither across the table- is totally normal, consider me bought.
The less-is-more term really had us in for a challenge. Rejecting would have been rude, non? I have to admit though, gambling just about every denim piece and raising the stakes on pigmented grains of blue against a model's eyelids was far from boring.
It's September 2014. For the love of toaster strudel and Gretchen Weiners, must we still confide in luxurious curls for that extra oomph and million-dollar look today? Minute budgets from my student's pocket often get me scrambling and wondering what would Grace Coddington do. In fact, what would she do?
I can't say for sure, but I've come to accept that Toni and Guy will do for now, and Primark's diamonds are enough to be my best friend. Till then, let's hope that the curls will stay intact and give thanks to the ones who've found it impossibly hard to keep such good pairs of Levi's.
I cannot wait to show you more takes from yesterday's shoot- keep your eyes peeled!
Lots of love and £2.50 diamonds,
