To date, my sentimental heart refuses to detach itself from any trace of Secondary School and this top was no exception.
With earnest parents and freshly graduated children in the canteen, playing the photo shoot game sounded much better [outside] on the hill, as much as I wanted to catch a shot with the canteen's water cooler.
I really loved that water cooler - the metal mother of sustenance.

Oh Secondary School, my heart has never failed to preserve a significant fragment of spirit for you. Going back could only mean more gut-wrenching moments while reminiscing about the best teachers and worst Chinese grades. To date, my sentimental heart refuses to detach itself from any trace of Secondary School and this top was no exception.
Let’s just say that this piece had me digging my wardrobe last morning for the most colour coordinated propositions.* I wouldn’t be surprised if it had something to do with it's resemblance to our old school uniform (imagine: un-ironed white shirts over washed-out dark green skirts. Glamorous), but it also played a safer option compared to the usual sports bras. I needed to be granted entry into school, after all.
*I jest. I’m not that cheesy. I promise. Really.
Congratulations, precious one!
Lots of love and back-to-school cool (I just had to),
